Bomberos Scholarship

          The Bomberos de San Diego Scholarship was created to provide underprivileged high school seniors with financial assistance to higher education. College education costs are increasing annually, and this scholarship  is available to help cover some of those costs. 

In 2022, Bomberos de San Diego awarded $12,000 in scholarships to students in San Diego and Imperial Counties. We are proud to announce that the application period for the 2023 scholarship is now open.

Bomberos Scholarship is based on 

  • Academic Excellence

  • Acceptance to College, University, or Trade School.

  • Financial Need

  • Community Service Oriented

Eligible Applicants will also be entered to the ​Esequiel and Sheryl Founders Scholarship. (No separate application form required)

Required Documents

  • Annual Household Income- W-2 form or similar

  • Copy of Official Transcript

  • Copy of postsecondary school acceptance letter

  • Other documentation, if necessary.
